We are just a 10 minute walk or 3 mins by bus to the city centre. The backpackers is close to bars, cafes, entertainment, supermarkets, banks, shops, car hire, markets, the zoo, the museum and Mt Eden. Borders Beyond is a medium-sized, quiet, secure and homely hostel.

 

 

DIRECTIONS

 

From the airport you have a choice of taxi (cost around $100) or shuttle bus to our door ($33 for 1 person ). If you take the Airbus (cost $16 ea) then get off at City Road and walk towards Great North Road, or get off at Queen Street and catch the 'Link' Bus to Cnr Ponsonby Road and Great North Road. Nixon Street is on your right straight after the Ford and Mazda Car Yard. If you get to McDonald’s on your left you have missed Nixon Street, which is first street on your left off Great North Road.
