I'd originally planned to email you today to give you stick about us whipping your butts in the RWC Quater Final. Seeing as that didn't happen - I thought I'd write you a review on your hostel instead, Fantastic hostel, with very friendly staff who are more than willing to go the extra mile to ensure you have a good time. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the (almost free) BBQ on Saturday afternoon ensured we ate like kings at least one day. This place comes highly recommended by myself and the other 3 rugby fans I was with.Cheers"(Mike England 10 October 2011)

BORDERS BEYOND, is now under new management (as of 8/12/10). We are a fun, laid back and central, quality backpacker*. We are just a 10 minute walk or 2 mins by bus to Queen street (main CBD street). The backpackers is close to bars, cafes, entertainment, supermarkets, banks, shops, car hire, markets, the zoo, the museum and Mt Eden and Eden park where the best of the rugby and criket games will take place each year. Borders Beyond is a medium-sized, quiet, secure and homely hostel. The accommodation consists of clean and tidy single and double rooms, all with double beds and T.V. The mix and female dormitories have either 4, 5 or 6 beds for the same price. We provide shared toilets/bathroom and cooking facilities and a self service laundry. There is a cosy common room with T.V, internet (computers and/or WI-FI), telephone and fax. A cost of 50cents is charged for a 6 minute hot water shower. |
